    Pedestrians Hit Near Field Museum

    Three poeple have been hospitalized, including a young girl, after they were hit by a car near the Field Museum. .

    At least three people, including a 10-year-old girl, were hit by a car while crossing a street near the Field Museum on Saturday evening.

    According to police, the three individuals were walking in a crosswalk in the 400 block of East McFetridge Drive at approximately 5:42 p.m. when a Ford Focus struck the trio.

    A 39-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were taken to Northwestern Hospital, while a 10-year-old girl was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital. The conditions of all three victims have stabilized, according to authorities. 

    A 32-year-old man that police said was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident was issued a citation for failure to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk.
