At Least 4 Injured After South Shore Train Derails Near Millennium Station

At least four people were injured after a South Shore Line train derailed Saturday morning in Chicago's The Loop neighborhood near Museum Campus, fire officials said.

The derailment was reported near South Prairie Avenue and East 14th Street.

Four adults out of the 74 passengers were taken to Northwestern Hospital in stable condition, Chicago Fire Department stated on Twitter.

The eastbound train #503 departing from Millennium Station was temporarily delayed about 30-45 minutes "due to earlier minor derailment incident," South Shore stated.

No other details were immediately known.
