Brigid Kosgei, 23, looks to continue her early career success at the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Here are some of her recent accomplishments:

Standout Race: Kosgei came in second at the 2016 Lisbon Marathon, but her two-hour, 24-minute 45-second time was her fastest marathon in her young career. 

More About Brigid Kosgei: Kosgei began racing at the marathon distance less than two years ago and has already won three of her five career marathons. Kosgei will head to Chicago hot off two successful half marathons, a third place finish in Copenhagen earlier this month and a first place victory in July at the Bogota Half Marathon.
