2 Women, 1 Man Injured in Englewood Shooting

The incident occurred Friday around 11 p.m. at the 7300 block of South Carpenter St.

Authorities say two women and one man were injured at a shooting Friday night in the Englewood neighborhood.

According to police, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. at the 7300 block of South Carpenter St.

A 27-year-old man is in stable condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center with a graze wound to the right leg; A 24-year-old woman is also at the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition with wounds to her left leg and right torso; and another woman, a 22-year-old, was taken to Mount Sinai in serious condition after being shot in the chest.

The group of people were reportedly at a party when gunfire erupted.

As of Saturday morning, no one was in custody, officials confirm.

The incident is still under investigation.
