One of the victims, a 68-year-old man, heard gunfire and realized he'd been shot in the leg, according to police

Two people were shot near the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood on the city's North Side early Sunday morning.

At approximately 2:27 a.m., a 68-year-old man was standing outside in the 1100 block of West Lawrence when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the leg, according to Chicago police.

A 34-year-old woman sitting in her vehicle nearby also heard the shots and suffered a graze wound to her forehead, police said.

Both victims were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where they were listed in good condition, according to police.

An unoccupied SUV that had crashed into a building was also discovered in the area of the shooting, but it was not immediately clear how the vehicle was connected to the investigation, police said.

On Saturday night, the Aragon Ballroom hosted the "College Craze 4" show, according to Live Nation.

Chicago rappers Lil Durk and Lil Herb performed with several guest DJs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
