Two people were rescued from Lake Michigan at 31st Street Beach Monday night.
According to authorities, the two people were pulled from the water just after 8 p.m.
Fire officials said one person believed to be in their 30s was transported in critical condition to an area hospital. A second person in their 40s was transported in stable condition.
