A 26-year-old man died and a 62-year-old was injured after a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the South Side, police confirmed.
The two were shot in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood in the 7900 block of South Laflin around 2:50 p.m., police confirmed.
Both victims were shot in the head and transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, according to police.
Police later confirmed that the 26-year-old has died.
No other information was immediately available.
