2 Injured in CTA Bus Crash in Hyde Park

Both victims were taken to area hospitals after the incident

Two people were injured Saturday after a car rear-ended a CTA bus in Hyde Park on the South Side.

The accident happened about 10 a.m. near the intersection of Hyde Park Boulevard and Lake Park Avenue, Chicago fire officials said.

One person was taken to Mercy Hospital in good-to-fair condition and the other was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in fair-to-serious condition, officials said. It was not immediately clear whether the injured people were in the car or on the bus.
