2 Cops Hurt in Crash

Crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the near West Side

    Three people, including two police officers, were injured when the driver of a PT Cruiser collided with a Chicago Police Department a squad car on the West Side.

    The driver of a PT Cruiser ran a red light, striking the squad car around 11:30 p.m. Sunday near 400 South Morgan, police said.

    Both officers suffered minor injuries and were treated and released from Northwestern Hospital Monday morning. A third victim, the driver of the second vehicle, was taken to the University of Illinois-Chicago Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

    The victim was also treated and released.

    No citations have been issued so far, police said.
