Cubs Appear on ‘Ellen,' Talk Dance Moves, Parade

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant and catcher David “Grandpa” Ross talked World Series victory on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

In a clip posted to EllenTube, Ross talks about his Saturday Night Live cameo and admits he was trying not to embarrass his daughter while showing off his dance moves.

Bryant and Ross both swapped stories about the big celebration in Chicago after the Cubs won the World Series that drew 5 million fans—and Ross mentions he almost did make it to the party after he was hit in the face by a wire.

Bryant revealed that witnessing the parade and rally may have been better than winning the World Series.

"Probably the coolest thing Iv’e been a part of. I think it’s even cooler than winning the World Series," he said. "I mean just seeing all these people come out, they’ve waited a long time for this moment. I have no words."

Ellen also gives some surprise gifts to both Cubs players—both with sentimental value.
