If you bought a Mega Millions ticket in Mundelein recently, you might want to check it.
Illinois Lottery officials say a Mundelein store sold a $1 million winning ticket for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased Circle K, located at 1991 W. Maple Ave. The ticket matched the first five numbers – 12, 22, 46, 56, 74, (04).
Lottery officials are urging the winner to immediately sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the lottery’s five Illinois prize centers.
Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
Circle K will receive $10,000, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
