Police are continuing to investigate after a teen girl was shot to death Sunday morning in suburban Aurora.
According to authorities, the girl, identified as 15-year-old Jasmine Noble, was shot to death early Sunday morning in the 400 block of Florida Avenue.
Just after 12:20 a.m., a 911 call placed to Aurora police reported a girl shot inside of a home. Paramedics rushed to the scene, where they pronounced Noble dead, according to a press release.
Police say that the case is being handled as a death investigation with suspicious circumstances. Authorities are interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence, and are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Investigations Division at 630-256-5500.
