Chicago police have issued an alert after a 15-year-old girl was reported missing in the city’s Old Town neighborhood.
According to police, 15-year-old Javia Mitchell was last seen on Aug. 9, 2018 in the 1300 block of North Cleveland.
Mitchell is described as an African-American girl, standing 5-feet-8 inches and weighing around 170 pounds. She has a medium-brown complexion and black hair, according to authorities.
Anyone with information on Mitchell’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Chicago police at 312-747-8380.
