Chase Bank robbed Monday

A man who robbed a Gold Coast bank Monday is believed to have robbed four others within the past month.

A man in a black stocking cap entered the Chase Bank in the 1200 block of North State Parkway shortly after 1:30 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The robber did not have a gun, according to police, and fled the bank with an unknown amount of money.

According to an FBI-run Web site, bandittrackerchicago.com, the same man is suspected of robbing four other Chicago banks since December 20th.

He's described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, around 5'5 to 5'6 and around 130 pounds.
