Everybody knows if you call in sick that it's not a good idea to be seen out and about in good health.
Especially when you're an adult film star like Jenna Jameson who's been known to attract a photographer or two.
But that's exactly what appears to have happened when Jameson canceled appearances at the Hollywood Palms Cinema in Naperville and Hollywood Blvd. in Woodridge last March.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the theatre's owners have filed a lawsuit against Jameson after photos appeared of Jameson attending celebrity blogger Perez Hilton's Blue Ball birthday bash in Hollywood during the same weekend. YouTube video also shows Jameson leaving the party.
The suit claims hundreds of tickets were sold for the event and seeks compensation from Jameson for the money spent on the events, and the lost revenue from her not showing up, according to the newspaper.
A hearing is scheduled for August.
