10 Shot, Including 6 Teens, During Violent Night in Chicago

At least 10 people - including six teenagers - were shot over the course of a violent night in Chicago on Monday.

The victims were shot in two mass shootings on the city's South Side, according to police.

The first shooting took place at around 10:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of South Vincennes Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood, authorities said.

Six people were standing outside in the park when they were shot, according to police. A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and took himself to the University of Chicago Medical Center in stable condition. A 24-year-old man was shot in the ankle and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the ankle and taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in good condition.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the buttocks, in the arm and twice in the hip, according to police, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition. The fifth victim was a 20-year-old man who was shot in the hig and both legs and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in stable condition. A 22-year-old man was also shot in the ankle and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.

Roughly five minutes after the first shooting, another took place on the city's Far South Side.

Four people were shot, one fatally, at around 10:50 p.m. in the 12300 block of South Yale Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood, according to police.

Authorities said the victims - all teenagers - were outside when an unknown offender opened fire from an alley nearby.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to police. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality and further details, including his identity, were not available.

An 18-year-old woman was shot in the thigh and a 16-year-old boy was shot in the foot and thigh, according to police, who said they were both taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition. Lastly, a 13-year-old boy was shot in the arm and taken to Comer Children's Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

No one is in custody in connection with either shooting, according to police, and the investigation remained ongoing.
