He's a smooth one, alright.
A 10-year-old's winning smoothie recipe was tucked into 10,000 cups being passed out at Wrigley Field today.
Anthony Davis Jr. won a July tasteoff for the Midwest Dairy Council's "Perfect Game Smoothie Contest" for a yogurt, pineapple and banana creation called "The Riot," in honor of Cubs shortstop Ryan "The Riot" Theriot.
Davis, a member of the Inner-City Little League, beat out several other finalists to win the honor.
To win, Davis blended his smoothie for Theriot, Cubs Athletic Director Mark O’Neal, and a representative of the National Dairy Council. Each taste tester "sipped and scored" the three finalists' concoctions before declaring Davis the winner.
