A man was seriously injured in a porch collapse Saturday evening in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, fire officials said.
The incident was reported at around 6:32 p.m. in the 400 block of North Armour Street. A 36-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, but his condition had stabilized later in the evening, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The victim was grilling on the porch when it collapsed, officials said.
A second person was also on the porch, but refused medical treatment.
