Fire ripped through a house in Lake Station, Indiana, Saturday night, killing a woman and sending two young children to the hospital.
It happened in the 2200 block of Wayne Street around 10:15 p.m. Witnesses heard the children's mother yelling for help, but they said the fire was too involved for them to assist.
Firefighters were able to pull two boys from the fire. They were airlifted to Comer Children's Hospital.
It's not clear how severely the boys were hurt.
