Pass on the ‘Dense' Foods

If diabetes is in your family, it's never too soon to watch your diet

There's confirmation that some foods pack a diabetic punch when you eat them.

English scientists say that even if you are thin, your risk of diabetes goes up by more than half if you eat what they call: 'energy dense' foods.

Those, as you might expect, are highly processed foods, fatty foods, meats and calorie rich soft drinks. Low energy foods include fresh vegetables and fruit, and calorie free beverages.
