Popular low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines will begin offering flights from Midway Airport to Boston's Logan Airport in mid August, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Five daily round-trip flights will be offered with fares as low as $89.
Southwest announced last week it will also begin offering flights from Midway to New York's LaGuardia Airport.
Southwest appears to be moving away from its strategy of servicing smaller airports, and is stepping up its efforts to compete with larger airlines such as United and American.
