The Green City Market Junior Board hosts the Halloween Harvest Ball on October 28 at Ravenswood Event Center (4011 North Ravenswood Avenue). The Halloween weekend event is a costume party with food and drinks from area chefs mixologists and sommeliers. Tickets $75 and available at www.greencitymarket.org.

Cece & Melinda with Raymi Productions hosts a Masquerade Extravaganza at Bevy nightclub on October 25th. The dress is formal with one twist -- you need to wear a mask. Tickets are $50 in advance and include an open bar (champagne, red & white wine, beer and specialty cocktails) and food from local restaurants.

Sailor Jerry and Three Aces are hosting a Pumpkin Smash Charity Event on October 27. Wear your best Halloween costume and smash a pumpkin for charity. Pumpkins are $5 each. Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warriors Foundation, a foundation that provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life. 9pm – 3am

A $10 donation at the door benefits Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue and A Dog’s Day Rescue organizations. Each guest receives a drink ticket and a free 4x6 professional photo of their costumed dog.

The restaurants are hosting a $1 million "Boorito" fundraiser, where customers dressed in costume can get a burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos for $2 between 4 p.m. and closing. Proceeds benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.
