Moshpix: More than 500 guests gathered at the grand opening of the new Perillo Rolls Royce dealership on Rush Street Thursday. Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro Jr., better known as The Cake Boss, shot an episode of his TLC show at the event, unveiling a giant cake made especially for the occassion. The street was closed off outside the showroom, but hundreds of onlookers crowded the fences to get a look at the proceedings. It took 30 minutes to unload the cake, which thankfully happened moments before the thunderstorm hit.

How big was the cake? They needed to bring in a forklift to get it out of the refrigerated truck.

The cake included iconic Chicago emblems like deep dish pizza and a hot dog -- with no ketchup, of course.
