David Duchovny––the star of "Californication", a TV show about a lust-driven Hollywood writer––reportedly entered a treatment program for sex addiction. In a statement issued by his lawyer Stanton Stein, Duchovny told People magazine, "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
Film and television star David Duchovny gained wide acclaim as UFO-chasing FBI agent Fox Mulder on "The X-Files." He starred in a second movie based on that series with Gillian Anderson that was released this summer.
