Wicked's Out; Rent and Chorus Line In

Spring brings two classic musicals to Chicago

With frigid temps and more snow in the forecast (remind us why we live here again?) we all could use something to look forward to.  Leave it to Broadway in Chicago to bring a little sunshine into our wintery lives.  Although fan-favorite 'Wicked'  is gone, not to worry – some older faves are coming through town.  'RENT' will play the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre March 31 to April 12. Actors Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp and Gwen Stewart will reprise the roles they originated on Broadway.  Individual tickets range in price from $25 to $80.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical 'A Chorus Line' comes to the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre for a limited three-week engagement April 14 to May 3.  'A Chorus Line' is the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Tickets for 'RENT' are available at all Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (24 W. Randolph St., 151 W. Randolph St. and 18 W. Monroe St.); the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line at 312-902-1400; all Ticketmaster retail locations.  Tickets for 'A Chorus Line' will go on sale to the public at a later date to be announced.
