What You're Doing Tonight: January 21

A fundraiser in the sky, reality stars make sushi, brewers offer up their goods

THE BIG TOP: "The Big Give at Big John" is the fourth-annual fundraiser for 12 local charities at the Signature Room at the 95th in the towering John Hancock Center. The circus-themed event features buffets, carnival-style desserts such as cotton candy, Piper Heidsieck champagne, Remy cognac and specialty martinis. Live entertainment includes performances by Redmoon Theater, plus a silent auction, raffles and giveaways. 7-10PM, $75-$80.

LET'S GET RAW: Reality TV "celebs" compete for top sushi chef honors at RA Sushi's "Reality Star Sushi Contest." Giving it a roll are Jamie Blyth ("The Bachelorette"), Mookie Lee ("Survivor: Fiji"), Terri Stevens ("Project Runway"), Meredith Spiros ("Shear Genius") and Cara Zavaleta ("Road Rules"). The winner (judged by a media panel and your votes) gets money for the charity of their choice, and their victorious creation will be served at RA through February. 7-9PM, free.

BREW-SERS: Join brewers from Dogfish Head and Three Floyds breweries for DogFloydapalooza at West Town's Bottom Lounge tonight. The $10 cover includes one beer per guest (which one will you choose?) and live music from local punk cowpokes the Waco Brothers. 9PM.
