What You're Doing Tonight: February 26

An artsy benefit, a masterful wine tasting and a heated "Roshambo" contest

ART ATTACK: Attend "Art Against AIDS 2009" at the River East Art Center and check out (and bid on, if you're so inclined) more than 75 pieces of original artwork during live and silent auctions. You'll also get to enjoy cocktails, appetizers and live entertainment at this annual benefit for the Heartland Alliance. 6-10PM, $150.

A MOTHER OF A WINE TASTING: Master sommelier Alpana Singh will be the star attraction at a special wine tasting at Juicy Wine Co. benefitting the Save-A-Mother foundation. Singh will pour samples of some of her favorite wines and discuss her selections, and you'll get to try small bites and listen to live jazz, as well. 7-9:30PM, $60.

ROSHAMBO: Metromix wraps up its "Rock, Paper, Scissors" throwdowns with its last contest at Victory Liquors tonight. You'll have a shot at $500 in the bracket-style tourney hosted by the Illinois Lottery in celebration of its latest "Rock, Paper, Scissors" scratch-off ticket. There will be giveaways, $4 Miller Lite pitchers and select martinis, and complimentary appetizers for all. 8-10PM, no cover.
