CHAMPAGNE WISHES: Work your way through Bin 36 sampling more than 75 champagnes and sparkling wines (along with dishes that go well with them) at the wine bar's Bubble Bath IX event. Proceeds from silent and live auctions, as well as a raffle, benefit the Girls on the Run organization. 6-10PM, $50.

THE DREAM POLICE: Straight outta Rockford, it's Cheap Trick, playing the Vic Theatre tonight for WXRT's Holiday Concert for the Kids (bring a new, unwrapped toy or book, please). The unstoppable band will be joined by the Avatars and Cliff Johnson as openers. 7:30PM, $50.

SLEEP-DEPRIVED SANTA: The seventh annual 24-hour improv marathon known as "The Second City That Never Sleeps" comes to a fantastic finale tonight with performances by Second City performers and alums along with musical guest Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. Proceeds go toward holiday gifts for needy children. At Second City e.t.c., 9PM, $20.
