What You're Doing Today (and Tonight): Feb. 12

View a Lincoln exhibit for one cent, get snowed and see erotica-inspired art

HONEST ABE: Enter the Chicago History Museum today for just a penny to commemorate the year-long celebration of Abraham Lincoln and the opening of the new "Lincoln Treasures" exhibition, including photographs, paintings and artifacts. 9:30AM-8PM.

WINTER WONDERLAND: Yep, it's still winter, but it doesn't have to suck. Check out the first-annual "Snow Days Chicago" at Grant Park, featuring five days of snow sculpting, dog sledding demos, kids' activities and food. (No fear -- they manufactured the snow beforehand and saved it from the 50-degree temps.) 11AM-8PM, free.

FANTASY LAND: Join burlesque performer and multimedia artist Angela Eve and multidisciplinary artist and designer Christophe Gauspohl as they host "The Elysian Ball," a night of erotic performances, interactive installations, fashion exhibits, video art and more in a circus-meets-speakeasy atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to dress creatively or in costumes. Color us intrigued. At Xchange West, 8PM-1:30AM, $25-$100.
