What You're Doing Today (and Tonight): Feb. 25

An afternoon of "Desire," wines from Oz and two red-hot R & B divas

MATINEE IDOLS: Catch a lunch-hour performance of "Desire Under the Elms," the classic Eugene O'Neill drama starring Brian Dennehy that was just extended through Sunday, at the Goodman Theatre this afternoon. Just hope your boss doesn't notice you're gone. 12PM, $25-$82.

AUSSIE JUICE: Sample wines from Australia and New Zealand at C-House's "Southern Hemisphere" wine tasting. Appetizers will also be served at the acclaimed Marcus Samuelsson restaurant in the sleek Affinia Chicago hotel. 6:30-8PM, $25-$35.

ENGLISH GIRL SINGS "AMERICAN BOY": The red hot Estelle performs at the House of Blues tonight with Solange (Beyonce's little sis) in tow. Think Kanye (Estelle's duet partner in her smash hit "American Boy") will make a cameo? Either way, this should be a powerful show. 9PM, $30.50-$33.
