What You're Doing Tonight: Dec. 7

Toy-bearing bikes on parade, an authentic German market and the Pumpkins

GET YOUR MOTOR RUNNIN': The 31st annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade revs into town this morning. The bitchin' procession begins at Dan Ryan Woods (83rd Street and Western Avenue) and continues along Western to the Marine Corps Reserve Center on Foster Avenue, where the donated toys will be dropped off, Easy Rider style. Bring a toy to any of the stops along the way to join in on the fun. 9:30AM.

FROHLICHE WEIHNACHTEN! That's Merry Christmas to you non-German speakers. You'll get a hearty dose of Weihnachten cheer at the Lincoln Square Christkindl Market with an outdoor European-style holiday market, strolling musicians, ice sculptures and Christmas decorations. German treats, including beer, glogg (warm spiced wine) and food will also be on hand for the celebration. 11:30AM-7PM, free.

PUMPKINS ROLL IN: The Smashing Pumpkins return to their hometown for two more shows on their current well-received tour. Catch this added date at the awesome Aragon Brawlroom at 7:30PM. $45.
