Drag your sorry butt out of bed on Jan. 1 -- that's right, New Year's Day -- in time to get to Sheffield's for the Wrigleyville staple's Winter Classic Party. You probably hit the sack a few short hours ago after a night of celebrating, but it's worth it to toast the Chicago Blackhawks historic game against the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field.
Located a slapshot from Wrigley, Sheffield's is opening at 8AM on New Year's Day for those lucky (and hopefully bundled up) fans who are heading to the game or those who just want to bask in the excitement. In fact, Sheffield's is raffling off two tickets to the Winter Classic, so you better come prepared (you know: scarf, gloves, flask) just in case.
A special breakfast menu will be offered, including a morning quesadilla, steak & eggs, pulled pork hash and pancakes -- all of which go great with Sheffield's long list of beers, of course.
