Weekend: Channel Bad Santa

PUB CRAWL: Embrace your naughtiest holiday desires Sunday at the Bad Santa Dirty Elves Bar Crawl kicking off at 11:30 a.m. at Little Italy's Three Aces (1321 W. Taylor St.) and traveling to Villains Bar and Grille, Reggies Rock Club, Honky Tonk and whatever bar they run to along the way. Be sure to sport your most festive Santa and elf costume to get in the spirit. A bus will transport partygoers from place to place. 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m., 1321 W. Taylor St., NO COVER

HERE'S THE SITUATION: You have a couple of opportunities to get up close and hopefully not to personal with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino when the "Jersey Shore" reality star hits the Chicagoland area Saturday. "Sitch" will sign copies of his new book (don't laugh) at the Borders in Lincoln Park (2817 N. Clark St.) at 2 p.m. Later that night he'll hit LIT nightclub in Aurora, and if previous appearances are any indication, you'll need to get there early and navigate hordes of screaming fans -- unless, of course, you're a screaming fan yourself.

GET LIFTED: Hammond's Horseshoe Casino will be rockin' on Friday as superstar singer/pianist John Legend performs at The Venue. The Grammy Award-winning performer will be sure to include hits such as Ordinary People and Green Light. 8 p.m., $45-$95

BLAME IT ON THE ALCOHOL: The Friday night crowds have been making a beeline for Lincoln Hall over the past few weeks for Auto Tune Karaoke, which uses much-needed pitch correcting software to add an electronic effect to the typical karaoke but still manages to make the performers sound awful. But isn't that what karaoke is all about. Get there early to get your name on the long list. 10:30 p.m., 2424 N. Lincoln Ave, NO COVER

SHOP 'TILL YOU DROP: On Sunday, the 1st Annual Chicago Local and Fair Trade Holiday Gift Bazaar at The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum should provide plenty of opportunities to find some unique items for those hard to shop for people on your Christmas list. Shop directly from some of the region's most dynamic and creative entrepreneurs, including chefs and food artisans, artists and designers, fair trade liaisons, educators, authors and entertainers. 10 a.m., 2430 N. Cannon Dr, $5
