Graham Elliot's newest sandwich shop venture, Grahamwich, has managed to disappoint one cranky customer before it's even opened. Last night, Elliot tweeted that a Yelp reviewer had given the still-under-construction Grahamwich a negative review. Yelper Michael J. issued Grahamwich one star on August 25 due to the fact that, well, "the joint isn't open yet." The curmudgeon's other Yelp reviews indicate that though he watches Top Chef Masters and thanks God for Richard Melman, he was disappointed by the "anti-pasta" at Terzo Piano and the "enteresting" but still-closed Grahamwich storefront. Whether the harsh words are coming from an industry insider with a grudge or just a foochebag with spelling difficulties, Graham Elliot has certainly handled worse. [Yelp; Twitter]
Update: Grahamwich's lone one-star review has now been replaced by eight separate five-star reviews. We're not sure which is worse.
