Trump Offers Outdoor Fitness Classes

Logging hours in the gym or yoga studio seems like a great idea, but this time of year, wouldn't you rather be outside?

Now you can get your downward dog on and get a dose of fresh air at the Spa at the Trump Hotel, who has brought back their outdoor fitness lineup for the summer.

The new summer fitness programming will add Power Hour and Awakening Yoga to the Riverwalk (a 1.2 acre park along the hotel's exterior) every Wednesday through September 28. For yogis and early birds, teacher Toni Scott will head up Awakening Yoga—a meditative workout that will take place from 7-8 am.

For those whose morning ritual includes (and that's about all you can handle), head over from 6-7 pm instead for Power Hour -- a bootcamp-style total body workout combining resistance and cardiovascular exercises by certified trainer Jeremy Aniciete.

And in case of inclement weather -- always a strong possibility in Chicago -- classes will be held inside in the spa, which means there's no excuse to skip your workout, rain or shine.

Classes are open complimentary for members of The Spa at Trump Health Club or $30 for non-members. Call director Caroline Rawlings at (312) 588-8126 to sign up.
