DANCE PARTY: Check out the new multi-million dollar redesigned W City Center tonight as the Loop hotel welcomes their new Global Music Director for a a special guest DJ set. The event is free and open to the public and celebrates the seventh edition of W's CD compilation series that L’Acqua curated called "Symmetry." 7-10 pm, 172 West Adams, FREE

WINE BASH: Hands down, our favorite monthly wine mixer in the city goes down at Quartino. Tonight's bash celebrates the one-year anniversary of the publication of Executive Chef John Coletta’s cookbook "250 True Italian Pasta Dishes" with sparkling white and rosé selections and pasta samplings from the cookbook, along with the usual selection of Italian fare. Cookbooks will be for sale at the event and guests will have the opportunity to have them signed by Chef Coletta.
