Tonight: Sexo Y Valencia

Plus, dress for success and Puerto Rican partying

SEX AND VIOLENCE: We became intimately familiar with Lucha VaVOOM's brank of Sexo Y Valencia -- sex and violence -- when they rolled through the city last year. If you missed that performance the first time around, you have two chances tonight to witness this mashup of burlesque and professional wrestling at the Park West. It's all part of the Just for Laughs festival, and believe us, that crazy little chicken is pretty damn funny. Chicago's Michelle L'Amour joins the fun. 7 and 10 p.m., 322 W Armitage, $25-$50

DRESS FOR SUCCESS: Check out hot fashions on the runway at the "Fashion Salvation" show featuring designers such as Bonnie & Clyde, AGGA B. and Marisa Swystun. Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction complete the fashionable atmosphere. 6-9 p.m., Salvage One (1840 W. Hubbard St), $45

PUERTO RICO! Head over to Humboldt Park for a celebration of Puerto Rican culture featuring live music, salsa dancing and merengue, plus food vendors and crafts. Festivities this week all lead up to the downtown Puerto Rican Day Parade Saturday. 5 p.m., California and Division
