Tonight: Screen an Awful Flick

Plus, New Music Mondays and Chefs in the City

BAD MEANING GOOD: Watching Mariah Carey's "Glitter," Madonna's "Swept Away" or "Howard the Duck" is akin to witnessing a bad traffic accident -- you just can't seem to look away. Celebrate bad flicks tonight at The Burlington with an airing of Frakenhooker, the titillating take of a medical school dropout who loses his fiancee in a tragic lawn mower incident, and decides to bring her back using parts of murdered prostitutes. You'll need a drink to sit through this one. 8 p.m., 3425 W Fullerton Ave, FREE

DOWNTOWN SOUND: Tonight's New Music Mondays at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millenium Park features the sounds of She and Him along with the Hollows. The weekly event features an eclectic mix of music discoveries, cutting-edge indie rock, pop bands and rock veterans. 6:30-9 p.m., Millenium Park, FREE

CHEFS IN THE CITY: Check out a pre-party tonight for July's annual Chefs in the City event. Tonight's soiree goes down at Old Town's 33 Club and features Effen and Maker's Mark cocktails, wine along with Allen Brothers and Fortune Fish appetizers. The event is free with RSVP and proceeds benefit Vital Bridges. 6-8 p.m., 1419 N. Wells St.
