TOC Staff Ate A Lot This Year

As we begin our descent into the year-end "best-ofs," the staff at TOC reflects on the 100 best things they've eaten they've eaten this year, divided into 12 categories from brunch and small plates to desserts and their favorite chefs. We were happy to see an entire category devoted to fried things (the best food of all!) and that "the cheese course" at Sprout got props—even though it's complimentary as part of their prix-fixe menu. The guide is even complete with a helpful "wishlist" for checking off dishes as you try them, kind of like a foodie scavenger hunt. [TOC]
