If you're a film buff, but big studio summertime blockbusters turn you off in a big way, and your ability to stay awake during 2+-hour movies is waning, the Indie Incubator Film Fest might be the party for you.
Taking place Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Original Mother's, 26 W. Division St., this festival of short independent films is hosted by award winning comic book creators/filmmakers Matt Kubinski and Charles Klein, with a dance party to follow for the rest of the night. There is no cover charge.
A judge's panel consisting of Kathy Byrne from the City of Chicago's Film Office, Eddie Griffen Producer of Image Union and Matt Sardo the Comic Vault store owner and “Pop Culture Expert” will decide on the “Best of Fest” award.
