Thanksgiving: Now Less Stuffy!

Thanksgiving dinner doesn't have to be a formal affair (except maybe when grandparents are involved). Bring your brood to The Pony, a Lakeview neighborhood pub and restaurant, for its casual take on Turkey Day. Famous for its "stacks," decadent piles of gravy-soaked bread, meat and assorted toppings, The Pony has unveiled a Thanksgiving version: layers of homemade biscuits, turkey, vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy. What, no cranberry sauce? You'll also get a slab of bourbon pecan pie, all for $12.

What are you going to wash this feast down with? If you said pinot noir, you're in the wrong place. The drink of choice is the Pony Cider ($8), handmade with Magner's Cider, Apple Pucker, bourbon, butterscotch and apple. Now, count your blessings: You're full, perhaps a bit tipsy, and you don't have to clean up.
