Superstar Chefs to Headline Chicago's World Festival

Impressive roster to attend Art Smith's Common Threads event

It may be hard to decide what to do at this year's Common Threads World Festival -- eat all the delicious food or gawk at the celeb chefs.

Table Fifty-Two's Art Smith has gathered an impressive roster for this annual event on March 1 at Soldier Field, which will also serve as a celebration of his 50th birthday.

Food Network stars Nigella Lawson, Ming Tsai and Ingrid Hoffman will all be on hand, the 312 Dining Diva reported, as well as The Travel Channel's Andrew Zimmerman.

Other notable chefs include a who's who of the Chicago culinary landscape, including Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard, Graham Elliot Bowles, Rick Bayless, David Burke & Rick Gresh and Carrie Nahabedian, just to name a few.

Common Threads is an organization that teaches low-income children to cook wholesome and affordable meals in order to combat childhood obesity.

Tickets for the event are $250.00 for general admission and $500 VIP which includes an after-party where you can rub shoulders with the famous chefs at the James Hotel.
