Have you ever met someone who seems vaguely familiar, only to realize you actually know each other virally? Online social networking can make for some real world socially awkward moments, but a new event is attempting to bridge that gap.
Chicago nightspot Rednofive will host the launch event for "Face 2 Face" on December 5, a networking event series designed to connect people in person who know each other interactively on Facebook.com.
The networking event will be held from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. with part of the proceeds benefiting Friends United and Sue Duncan Children's Center.
The cover charge is free before midnight and $20 afterward.
