Stay in the Christmas Spirit Past Dec. 25

Merry Christmas!  If you're reading this on Christmas Day, chances are you ducked away from your drunken aunts and uncles, screeching baby cousins or over-exuberant in-laws for five minutes of solitude to surf the 'net in peace. Since today is all about turkey, family and far too many desserts, you may feel like you're missing out on some of the Christmas spirit around town.  Here are a few festive holiday events that continue on past Dec. 25, so you can take part tomorrow and beyond:

Lincoln Park Zoo Lights are closed on Christmas Day, but they light up again the evening after, and every night through Jan. 4

The Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light exhibit continues through Jan. 4 at the Museum of Science and Industry, which is closed on Christmas Day.
