The stores are stocking up for spring, and color is the big trend.
"Colors are brighter and bolder than we've ever seen for spring," says Jennifer Wilkens, trend expert for Macy's. And instead of black, blue is all the rage, from turquoise to navy.
Dresses (long or short) are still in, as are flats and big chunky wedges.
"I think people are gonna look at a new pair of sandals, be it a wedge or a high heel, in color, as a way to perk up last season's dress," says Beth Wilson, Chicago Correspondent for Women's Wear Daily.
Spring accessories are bold and chunky as well. Experts say accessorizing is a great way to freshen up your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
