NBA Game Summary – Cleveland at Chicago

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Luol Deng scored 22 points and hit a pair of three-pointers in overtime, and the Chicago Bulls played spectacular defense on LeBron James after the first half for a 102-93 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James finished with 28 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, but went a cold 8-of-28 from the field. He had just two field goals after halftime and accounted for half of his team's 16 turnovers, as the Cavaliers not only lost the game but also the services of guard Delonte West due to a fractured right wrist.

Tyrus Thomas had 15 points and seven rebounds for Chicago, which beat the Cavs for the first time in four meetings this season. Derrick Rose had 16 points on just 6-of-20 shooting for the Bulls, who have won two in a row.

Mo Williams tallied 26 points for the Cavaliers, who had a three-game win streak broken.

West suffered a non-displaced fracture of his wrist during a first-quarter collision. As Rose drove to the basket with 1:36 left in the opening quarter, West tumbled to the ground and tried to break his fall with his wrist. West was also left with a cut over his left eye that required two stitches.

Anderson Varejao's jam extended the Cavs to an 87-83 lead with 2:14 remaining in the fourth quarter, but Rose responded with a layup, and both teams then missed on opportunities before Rose tied the game with a pair from the charity stripe with 17.1 seconds to go.

James was off the mark on a jumper at the buzzer, and the Bulls took command by scoring 12 of the first 13 points in overtime. Deng hit consecutive three- pointers from the left corner, with the final one going in despite a high bounce off the rim for a 99-88 difference.

The Cavs scored the game's first seven points and led 28-20 after 12 minutes but the Bulls went ahead in the second with a 20-4 run and then trailed 48-46 at the half. The teams were even at 71 heading to the fourth quarter.
