Needless to say, the impending blizzard will cause many businesses to close up shop. But others are sticking it out, offering deals for those hardy enough to trek outdoors

- Kimpton Hotels are offering a $99 rate for those affected by the blizzard. Use the rate code "cold" to get a $99 room rate at Hotel Allegro, Hotel Burnham, Hotel Monaco and Hotel Palomar.
- Doubletree: $67 deal in honor of the 1967 storm.
- The Seneca Hotel & Suites -- ask for Northwestern snow rate.
- Palmer House Hilton -- special snowed-in rate of $99/per night for Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Hilton Chicago/ Indian Lakes Resort -- Snow Storm Special for $69/night including 10 percent off all dining outlets at the resort. For reservations call (630)529-0200 amd mention SRP: Snow.
- Swissotel -- $99/night through Thursday night.
Restaurants/Bars:
- Dunlays on the Square -- Mention "I love snow" to anyone on the staff and get 10 percent off your bill Tuesday and Wednesday, excluding specials.
- Cactus Bar & Grill -- $5 Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup on Tuesday and a Chili and an Arcadia London Porter special for $8 on Wednesday.
- Al Primo Canto -- Get 20 percent off your entire bill, no corkage fee BYOB on Tuesday and a glass of wine for a dime on Wednesday.
- Falafill: Free bowl of soup with any sandwich or salad bowl
