Selective Memory Alert: The '85 Bears

Duke's Alehouse and Kitchen relives the glory days of the best Bears team

While most of us couldn't name the 26 quarterbacks the Chicago Bears have employed since the "Punky QB" Jim McMahon himself(and wouldn't want to), we can recite the highlights of the 1985 season like it's our own family history. And, in a way, it is -- that team was a perfect moment in time that we'll be reliving as long as we possibly can. Or until a future Bears team wins a Super Bowl -- whichever comes first.

Take a victory lap down memory lane on Sunday, Jan. 25 when Duke's Alehouse and Kitchen in northwest suburban Crystal Lake will fill the gap between the NFC and AFC Championships and Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1 with some exciting football programming. The comfortable neighborhood pub will be broadcasting Super Bowl XX twice -- at 12:15PM and 3:30PM. Stay for both and pretend the Bears won two Super Bowls!

Celebrate the win (albeit 23 years later) with $4 pitchers and 25-cent wings. Plus, if you wear your 1985 Bears jersey (you know you have one), you'll get 15 percent off of your food bill. No discounts for doing the "Super Bowl Shuffle," however.
