Michael Scott is making a return engagement to the Chicago School Board.
Chicago Mayor Richard Daley on Monday appointed Scott and encouraged board members to elect him as board president during their next meeting on Wednesday.
Scott was Board president from 2001 to 2006.
He has also help positions with the RTA, the Chicago Park District, and the Chicago Pier and Exposition Authority.
