Schefft Turns in Her Bachelorette Crown

"Bachelorette" star married over the weekend

A famous bachelorette is no more.

Chicago native Jen Schefft, 32, was married Friday night to her 35-year-old Joe Waterman, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Tribune reports that Schefft met the options trader on a blind date early last year. The wedding took place in a private dining room at Spiaggia overlooking Lake Michigan.

Shefft's current romance is infinitely more private that her previous liasons. She was engaged to Andrew Firestone following the third season of "The Bachelor," but they later broke up. After appearing in the lead role on "The Bachelorette" in 2005, she rejected the proposal from that show's "winner."

Schefft blogged and doled out wedding advice leading up to the big day, and has also written a book, Better Single Than Sorry: A No-Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling.
